He’s probably just a quick study.... and learned up quick on the house rules... in particular the one about the boy not sticking a chicken or a cat...

... which does beg the question.... does your boy grasp the concept of loopholes?... because that peacock ain't a chicken or a cat ;)

Haha! When I put roosters on tie cords the peacock messes with them sometimes. My son is under strict orders to chase him away by any means necessary, just don’t kill him. So Jeepers the peacock gives him a wide birth. :gig

You don't catch fish or a nice one everytime ya go out. I'm not some king trapper, but I'm trying and learning it's actually nice just like most things it all has its ups and downs.

If I had to live on what I could catch with a pole... I’d either have to better my game or buy some skinny jeans ;)

The trapping thing comes to me a little easier... but if I had to live on it... well there would probably be a lot of possum casserole, but I’d stay out of the skinny jeans!

Trapping to me is three things:
1) critter knowledge
2) weather
3) hussle and work

Sometimes when I gotta full tank of number 3, number 2 runs low, or its the other way around... for putting up big catch numbers, #1 don’t mean much and might actually slow you down...

But when you find that stubborn critter, #1 can make the difference...

Not schooling that stubborn critter before you figure out its stubborn is the trick ;)...

I’ve given a few critters PHDs

Want to guess which one of these two was harder to catch? ;)
