I'm far from an expert, but if I wasn't doing what I am I'd have nothing left here like the neighbors. He had 28 I believe he said and has 2-3 left and those are alive for now because they are locked in a coop 24/7.

It seem like 8-10 people that post about a predator killing their birds just want to vent and not really do anything about it anyway. It’s practically a waste of time.
“Oh I don’t wanna catch it I just wanna take a picture”. Man if the chickens could talk they’d be ripping these owners, pack their bags and head somewhere safer.

My favorite is “let’s take the dead chicken from the last attack and set it out with a camera for some pseudo-scientific navel gazing, so that we can pretend like we’re doing some serious research...”

Seems like by now all that studying would teach a fella how to keep the chicken killers from killing the chickens... apparently that’s not how it works though.

I’ve stopped looking at those threads... I got better ways to waste time

Some people are more worried about putting on a show and pretending to know what they’re doing when it’s really on the job training.
The old saying applies. Pictures or it didn’t happen. Which is usually the case anyway.
I feel bad for the chickens since they got stuck with such sorry *ss owners. Life ain’t fair I guess not even for chickens.
