I rescued her from a farm I worked at last spring and summer. She was there when I started working. There were also a couple of stags that were kept singly because they fought constantly. My boss sold them at auction because they were always fighting.

That’s what tons of people do here... Sell game roosters at the auction. The SAME people buy them each time which has me wondering.... what the heck do they do with all those roosters?!

She’s may not even be a game hen at all. Especially with that comb.

Some of the stags that came in had single combs and one or two had rose combs.

I believe the majority of the roosters that my boss sold at the auction were eaten by the people who bought them.

Judging by most people on here it’s probably just as simple as they can’t keep them alive.
None of it is my business though so I don’t wonder what other people do.

Well after seeing how much my boss cared about the people buying the animals neither will I. She sold a sheep with worms, sick chickens, crippled ducks and geese just to name a few. Oh and a human aggressive goat buck.

Who buys messed up animals? Some of it is the responsibility of the buyer is it not? She sounds like a winner though.
