I’ve heard good things but I have a tough time with disposable knives. I know if I tried them I’d like them and I just can’t have that. ;)

Yeah, that’s exactly the problem too...

my buddy got me one, or I got him one... I forget... but they were a dream on beaver...

I haven’t used mine in about 5 years because I never can find the knife at the same time I can find the blades ... I currently only know where the blades are.:rolleyes:

I use a “Knives of Alaska” muskrat on beaver most of the time. It’s similar to a beaver knife anyway. I like the rounded blade for quick skinning. If the beaver isn’t frozen into the trap which is only about 5% of the time I’ll rough skin em in the woods so im not hauling a heavy beaver over the hills to grandmas house.
I haven’t looked at them in awhile but I remembered them being kind of expensive once you factored in a few packs of blades.
