I have a bunch of them around here. They den in the woods and come out in the yard to eat the grass. I spend a fair amount of time protecting the babies from hawks too. They don’t come close to any buildings or I’d have to shoot em too.That’s weird... one of those bikers yelled those exact words as I was sliding across the hood of 73 maverick some little old lady was driving... might coulda been a 72... I didn’t stop to study it
In other news I got into a shoot out with a woodchuck ... I let him have the whole place, but told him no digging under outbuildings... he minded for about a year, but got unruly here lately

I’ve had to remove a few of those that were tunneling along the foundation of my parents house years ago.
Waxed and scent awayed? Cage trap with half an Apple suspended with wire gets it done. Works like a charm.

Hope you skinned em. Those guard hairs make great dry fly tails!
