That’s weird... one of those bikers yelled those exact words as I was sliding across the hood of 73 maverick some little old lady was driving... might coulda been a 72... I didn’t stop to study it ;)

In other news I got into a shoot out with a woodchuck ... I let him have the whole place, but told him no digging under outbuildings... he minded for about a year, but got unruly here lately

I have a bunch of them around here. They den in the woods and come out in the yard to eat the grass. I spend a fair amount of time protecting the babies from hawks too. They don’t come close to any buildings or I’d have to shoot em too.
I’ve had to remove a few of those that were tunneling along the foundation of my parents house years ago.
Waxed and scent awayed? Cage trap with half an Apple suspended with wire gets it done. Works like a charm. ;)
Hope you skinned em. Those guard hairs make great dry fly tails!

Hey look . .

See. . eit weell keell.
I am really depressed now. I was looking forward to eating a big bowl of raw flour before I read that. :hit

And also. . I just saw a fox pup running through my back lot where my ducks are.

At the time I was in the middle of three things, so I just dropped it in a bucket, put a lid on it to keep the flies out and put it in the shade.

I wasn’t sure how tight that lid was though... when I went back around and had a minute I checked and not a single fly... so I made a sock and a pom pom real quick

I shoulda saved the hind quarters and taken them to the cook out later, just to see if anyone would try them, lol

The dreaded Pom Pom!! :gigI’ve managed more raccoon Pom poms than I’d like to admit. That last weasel didn’t go so well. I was using a tiny slipjoint knife that was sharp as a razor and still managed to butcher the tail on him. Almost lost a digit or two as well I’m much better with a mink.

You ever use a havalon, with disposable blades? I like em, but I like to have that other hand in at least a thin cotton glove for sure!

I'll have to wait for my dil to leave. She is one of those p.i.t.a. PETA types who will throw a tantrum and want to relocate it so it can be someone else's problem.
