This is the truth. My friend who has an 8 year old son quit the scouts recently because the parents and kids were so extremely rude.
I saw some of it for myself when we went to one of his events. It was Horrible!

Don't be scared off. When I was a kid, growing up in the city, a friend of the family gave me my first game hen with three chicks. To me, she was the best. I couldn't keep roosters either but made my own tie cords and hitches. When you have the time, money and resources perhaps you can justify the expense, but for now find a decent hen and learn the ins and outs. They are very smart and friendly fowl, but come with their own challenges. I know it has been said before but friendship will get you birds that money just can't buy...
