American Gamefowl

I’ve had to travel a bit in the past and learned not to be too picky.... so I like coffee hot, cold, fresh, burnt, in a clean cup, in a cup with dead fly, in a cup with a human hair ( no shorter than 2 inches please), in rusty thermos with grease on it, served by a pretty girl, served by a surly man... I don’t much care really... I just don’t want to pay stupid high prices for it... I like tea sometimes too ;)
:lau:lau:lau:lau
Pour enough sugar and cream in thar I'll drink it.
I bought the magazine and they gave me a coupon for a free cookie. My son was with me so I felt cheap just getting the cookie for him so I bought a coffee too.
:gigWell that was quite generous of ya.
I feel cheap usin the gas station bathroom without buying something too. . but I've done it a few times. :p

Finally got around to pulling a camera card. He’s done been caught already.

Critters are acting off here tonight, I suspect the coyotes are working behind the house... they’re kinda over due for being back there and the deer were making a fuss a half hour ago... but my yard rabbit just shot through like he knew what’s what, so maybe something else is stirring too:idunno

Send out the dogs!

Send out the dogs!

I think the dog rental place is closed for the night ;)

That’s what makes me think they’re behind the house to the south though, the farm dogs to the north are quiet tonight ... and the deer were sounding the alarm... a lot of times though the deer stack up in the yard when the coyotes are working close ... kinda fun to watch, but it’s all always in flux, so?

I don’t know though my mind goes back to coon kits disappearing a while back... I’m pretty sure I have something else visiting... but I’m pretty lazy about setting the camera this summer

Something snatched that skunk I left last summer. It was either a canine or an owl. Who knows. I just hope I don’t have to mess with any foxes til fur season. I hate having to kill em in summer.

That was probably just the mail carrier... I catch ours chewing on anything she can get a hold of ;)

Actually, our mail lady is a sweetheart, she’s half retired but been running this route for 20+ years... we’re going to miss her when she retires for good.

If I’m home my mailman beeps the horn for to come get the mail and talks trapping. “Saw some coyotes chasing a fawn again” and he shows me trail cam pics. Lol
I can’t really call him a sweetheart without hillfolk making fun of me.
