American Gamefowl

Well. .you would have to make an opening statement of some sort on the first post telling all the dummies to check their local regulations.
If they don't. . not your problem.
You can lead a potlicker to water but cha can't make him put down his beer and drink.
I’m not even that concerned about that. It’s more they won’t actually order the traps they need to get it done. Most won’t think twice about going down to the local feed store and paying way too much for a cage with the assumption they can catch anything that moves in it. Which couldn’t be farther from the truth. There’s no way around it trapping is ton of work. Responsibility to set them correctly and check them early and often sometimes more than once a day in certain instances. Most just aren’t interested enough.

Since the start man has guarded his livestock, crops and family. People act like it's some new concept it's clearly not. It also baffles me aswell buddy.
That’s the crazy part. Everyone acts like this is come new concept. Then you have all this BS about some big fluffy *ss rooster that supposedly protects the flock. Uh huh sure they do. I don’t get on FB or anything like that but I’ve never seen more people full of sh*t than on here. It’s so pathetic it’s sad.

I cannot stand posts about how they lost Fluffy to a hawk/fox/dog/insert predator of choice because they were free ranging. If you really care about your poultry then you need to make sure they are safe! Sometimes that means you can’t have the picturesque flock free ranging your property.
I personally like to free range birds. If they aren’t willing to keep them as safe as possible then yeah they should be locked up. It’s simple really.

It gets complicated when you live in a neighborhood and let birds loose in a fenced in yard and still lose birds. It’s not wise to set traps all over the place and most have firearm discharge ordinances.

That's understandable some have more restrictions than others. In that case I wouldn't know where to start I probably wouldn't have a 1/4 of what I do or never start keeping birds in the first place.
