American Gamefowl

Wait maybe that was the waxing trough. I may be mixed up.

I had a proper reply typed, with comical nonsense and all... but then had to snap to and remember why I was sitting up late tonight...

Oh yeah I’m lazy. I use trap dip now. Bucket works just fine.
Nice shootin pilgrim!

That’s what had me confused... so you dip traps in buckets?.... I’m completely ignorant on anything past wax and logwood die on traps... others than what I’ve read on it... but I guess I didn’t connect that buckets would work for the other stuff ...

Yeah, I’m a hell of a shot at 18 inches, lol...

Ten foot from the bedroom window, you’d think my wife would notice even a .22 ?... but no... I woke her to say everything is ok, and she hadn’t heard a thing?

Yes sir. It’s not as durable but it works just the same despite the naysayers. And as always I have a picture. ;)
I fired a .50 cal muzzleloader in the backyard once and I came inside and she didn’t even hear a thing? That damn thing is quite loud too. Got me man.

I do wonder about ( admire) your exhaustive DIY pic library ;)

We only run our beaver/otter line for a month max... and just dye them and take the punishment I guess... I threaten to use something else from time to time... but old habits...,

Ya know you’re right. I have over 5600 pics on my phone. Maybe I should delete a few huh.
That’s a water based dip. I use speed dip on bodygrips and anything set in the water.
I know some guys will use speed dip on land traps but I ain’t one of em. I’m just not that confident in getting rid of the smell.

Well my earlier well crafted reply was meant to poke fun at blue sneakers and speed dip and add to that all sorts of nonsense... but the ‘dilller struck... and I got all excited and I came up empty....

Feeling empty handed though... any guess on the year that ‘diller hatched... or that pistola was hatched?... anyone?

ima guess 50's to 60s google tells me they were introduced in 32 though lol.

I killed quite a few coons one night at least 6. My wife didn't even flinch let alone wake up I fired a 12g twice and a 22 at least 5-6 times I had em scattered everywhere I was just on the porch one would think that'd wake up about anyone or cause flash backs but nope.
