Well it depends what you’re doing with the knife. A cheap pair is scissors will do most people just fine.

They made the filet knives that were sold by rapala. Now rapala owns martiini. They’re still made in Finland near the arctic circle though. The blade is a carbon steel and it’s heat treated pretty soft for ease of sharpening. Similar to Condor Tool and Knife.I guess I did know martiini made anything other than fillet knives...

Could be. They exported knives to the US before making them for Rapala.I meant to say ‘didn’t’ know they made ...
I inherited at least three of their cheap fillet knives ... all with blades in various abused states ... one with a bent tip...
One of these days I might try to put an edge back on them...
One has a different sheath though, I wonder if it was pre-rapala ?
Probably not. I don't know how old those Lansky knives are that I have, but likely been around here for a while, probably cost about $3.99 back then$46 is not a lot for knife anymore.
