You guys are nuts. I’ll take winter over summer anytime. The colder the better! Besides the cold air, wood smoke, smell of pine, trapping lures. Summer just doesn’t do it for me.

Lol. You know what I could live in West Virginia. At least the north eastern part where I was. That’s the only place I’ve been to that was exactly like I’ve pictured. You’re a cliche of every yankee I’ve ever met
Not sure where the line is, but yanks always lament the winter, ice fishing, snow mobiles, riding moose’s, or whatever...
...in the same way that others can’t wait for sun tea, bass boats, wet T-shirts at the senior center, and home made ice cream...
that seals that as a hell no!I would love to move to Maine or NH but there’s just too many liberal nutbags for me. Constantly changing laws and trying to ban trapping etc.. And....the worst of all drumroll....a can of Copenhagen is about $9 in Maine!!!!that seals that as a hell no!

I don't want summer, maybe just fall and spring lol. But hell I can't make that happen so I just deal with itYou guys are nuts. I’ll take winter over summer anytime. The colder the better! Besides the cold air, wood smoke, smell of pine, trapping lures. Summer just doesn’t do it for me.

) was quite a bit lower this month vs same time last year... I think it stayed hot then went cold last year so we ran AC moreI’ve only been to Idaho and Washington out west. I’ve been to the UP and Wisconsin. The whole northeast, Ga, AL, FL and now WV and just drove through all the other east coast southern states. Oh I’ve been to Texas and Oklahoma. Both of those are firm nope.I’m not sure where I’d move to if I could just pick a spot on the map... everywhere has too many people anymore...
if money were no object I’d probably spend summers in Michigan’s UP and winters somewhere a little deeper in the woods here in the Ozarks...
but I could probably find a rock to hide under out west too, so who knows
The number of people not the price of dip would be the big decider though![]()
I actually really did like West Virginia. I think I’m a hillbilly with a NJ accent and attitude problem.
