Damn you. Now I gotta pick up a muzzleloader permit. I wasn’t gonna gun hunt but I do like the smell of powder in the morning.

I like them the best to hunt with truthfully something about it.

Actually I never heard of them but that means nothing... our ML season overlaps archery... and somehow I became a bow snob at some point and just choose archery tackle when given a choice... so my ML just collects dust...

Tomorrow is pumpkin brigade day though, so I’m taking my wife out in the morning... we had a nice 9pt under the bird feeder last night so now she’s excited... I’ll mostly nap the whole time so I’m excited too, lol

I know, right... I never intended to become that way... it just happened...

I’ve got a TC encore, and made a “biggest buck” bet with my buddy one year and won... the bet was a new ML barrel for the encore... the next year he won and I had to buy him one... I don’t think either of has ever scored with them ... I did take a coyote with it the first year...

I put a new scope on the rifle barrel of the encore 5 years ago... never have even got around to zeroing it

I don’t gun hunt often but these are the slugs I use in the ol mossberg 835. Kicks oh so good!

Is your state shotgun only, then?

I don’t think I could do it, two things I can’t do: big recoil, and a night at the symphony, I’ve tried both, lol
