American Gamefowl

Make a nice trapping rig wouldn’t it, especially with that white interior, lol
If I had it I would use it that’s for sure.
There was a guy in my duck hunting spot earlier this season with a brand new Dodge Ram. I can’t get my Tacoma in there without scratching it bad so I give him all the credit plus he beat me to the spot. Lol

I do understand that but the last time I heard of someone going tits up they didn’t take much with them. Pretty sure all the toys got left behind.
I get it but I always found it strange that people have things they don’t really use just for the sake of looking at it. To each their own I guess.
If I had it I'd drive it.
I'd probably cry when I messed it up. . but I'm the same way. Why have it just to look at?
What good is having something just sitting there.

Some people have more money than brains. They spend their lives working their *sses to the bone so when they’re all crippled up and nothing works anymore they can afford all the things they wished they had when they were 25. Lol

I’m with ya.

I don’t begrudge the collector that has the scratch to preserve the old ones...

and I don’t really care if the suburbanite Chads drive fancy pickups that they don’t use as pickups, I do wish they could park the damned things between the lines though

Nope I don’t begrudge them either. I just don’t understand the logic. If I had that kinda money to throw around I’d do more traveling and experiencing things. Different strokes for different folks. I’m not interested in impressing other people with “stuff”. Cause be honest they wouldn’t have it if nobody gave a sh*t about it.

It's like when my grandma used to buy me cloths or shoes when I was a kid and then tell me. . "now these are only to wear for good. . I don't wanna see you out wallerin the dog in those!"
So. . ok. I wear it maybe twice and outgrow it? :barnie
Why even have it.

My grandad had a ‘77 Chevy pickup, he raised cattle, hauled wood, hay, grandkids and everything else with it and then in 1998 he bought a new one..

he passed away this year at age 99 and that ‘98 had been garaged it’s whole life, had almost no miles on it, and looked brand new inside and out, so it really drew the eye because you just don’t see one of that era in that good of shape...

I was sitting with him this spring before he passed and he was talking about how everybody made a fuss about that ‘98... he said something like “it might be a good one? I couldn’t say, it never got used... now that ‘77 though, that one was for damn sure... ”

to me that’s where the truth is. How do you know what you have it hasn’t been tested...

Goes for people too... there’s a lot of people that you can tell from their words that they’ve never tested them selves...

I suppose that’s my point. People just buy things to put on some sort of show. Pretend like they know more than they do, act like they’re someone they’re not and the list goes on. It’s not hard to pick out the bullsh*tters. It seems to get worse though as time goes on.
