Well I'd tell god to make the mountains flat but other than that ain't much I can do. They ain't nothing flat here don't think it's changing anytime soon. I've always drug deer I don't own a 4wheeler so my options are slim to none I've drug em fowards, backwards carried smaller ones ain't made a lick of difference it's all manual and up and down. Thankfully we didn't have to track her to far from where she was shot.

I’ve dragged deer a long ways before. This one doe I dragged down a fire cut for over a mile. Half the hair was missing on the ground side by the time I got it to the truck. Seemed like a good decision at the time. Not so much about half way through.

I have a history of hunting some rough, hard to reach places that later seem like bad ideas too

I’ve dragged them, carted them, floated them down creeks, and quartered & back packed them out...

My dad used to ask me about how I got them out every year and often just shake his head, but I think he liked hearing that part of the story more than the rest of it...

I took one that was around 300 lbs once ... I think dad was kinda disappointed when I told him I was able to get the truck right to it, lol

That 10 pointer took earlier was either go over 3-4 fallen trees and through an old barbed wire fence or down a bank I chose to go over and through haha.

One of the worst drags ever was when I was driving a little car... and had to drag it from a field through the woods because my little car couldn’t get to it... didn’t have another option but it hurt more because it could have been so easy with a different vehicle, lol

I see these guys all the time with nice trucks ,trailer and 1-3 4wheelers just to have a doe on the back. And complaining I'm over here thinking yeah must be real terrible.

It gets real crazy when each hand has a big ol wet beaver in it.

it can be tough to get them out of some places. Stumbling on ice and falling through is always a blast.

I finally got one after caught 3 big beavers. I was running the line at 11pm on New Year’s Eve and it was about 15 degrees. Had to chop ice by headlamp and make 2 trips.

I use it for duck hunting too when I walk in to places and use my layout blind.
