American Gamefowl

I’m just kidding.
I know I'm just slinging back.
See. . you already told me something I done wrong.. :lau

Your not wrong about how annoying it is though when someone does something once or twice and then acts like the are an expert on something you've been doing for years.
There are quite a few of those types of folks.

It’s hard to justify spending too much nowadays on anything for trapping. I haven’t even ordered any new lures yet. They aren’t cheap and figured I’ll just use what I have for now. I probably will order a few though anyway.
Yeah. . I don't wanna spend a lot either.. No more than I'm gonna be doing. As long as the knife don't fly apart on me and make me cut my leg off or something when I try to use it. :gig
That would be my kind of luck.

Nah most people use cheap knives for skinning. They get nasty and are easy to touch up with any cheap sharpener. I have a few victorinox cheap knives like ohzark posted before. As long as it’s sharp it will work. There’s some better than others but you definitely don’t need them to skin an animal.
All the fleshing knives work just fine. You do more pushing then cutting anyway. It’s better to keep it *not razor sharp* until you know what you’re doing or you’ll slice a pelt in half. Lol

No foxes or coyotes showed up huh?

Not that I caught on camera...

we had that snow storm come in right after I redid the carcass last Saturday and seemed to shut it down... the one night I only had one owl vid for the whole night...

then the card filled up after Monday... only had the one eagle video in the snow... it was the last one before the card was full :(...

Did have video of a turkey buzzard with snow on its back ... kinda odd it’s even around into November here...

As far as critters just possums and coons this time... so I got to study their foot placement real close, lol

I put another beaver out, so we’ll see... hoping to get some steel in the ground on the 26th
