Anybody in here raise spangled hatch? Looking for a trio to run my yard.

Many birds have the hatch name attached to it, but are not the bottom gritty birds that hatch were so not all are equal.

Shipping has also recently changed and went up so buying a trio is going to be costly no matter where or who you buy from. I'd worry less about color more about everything else that being said... Havoc has pennies, del Mack has hatch, gator, gene batia, Jerry Lawrence, Gustavo Sanchez, Rat, cigar bates etc etc etc etc etc to many to list but those would be a good place to start if I was looking for something not cold.

Me personally if I was looking for spangled birds it would be a good family of whitehackles. I had a spangled McLean hatch and he was trash, I also had a spangled Gerard hen she went MIA before breeding, but whitehackle would be my choice ... most any family can throw some speckled birds down the line eventually.

He's enjoying the sun too, photo is blown out, but...I like it anyway! Ira is not mad, she just happened to look that way today She's really a friendly little thing.

I don't know that I would go so far as to call her sweet.
I know that look though and she's a good looking hen in my eyes.

She is a good girl, but she's not up to taking any guff of anybody or anything
