They get trimmed for there health when they are about 1yr old

As long as you want. As long as they’re drinking it and not wasting it just keep giving it to them for awhile. You can always cut it down as they get older to every so often. The rooster booster probiotics and vitamins are better.

I’ve found the birds will drink that no problem too. Some of those bagged Durvet brand vitamins and electrolytes might be better/stronger but half my birds won’t drink it so I switched a few years ago.
They have it at tractor supply around here. The liquid vitamins are good too but they’re expensive.
