American Gamefowl

Good point, I thought if so he would set me straight but he never got back with me.. I also asked if he would send a photo of the hens, I hesitated dropping 40 dollars on shipped eggs when the guy won't get back with me.
Honestly if you were questioning $40 for shipped eggs I don’t think anyone on here would have gotten back to you. The $100 for a rooster is a similar mindset. Most everyone who has gamefowl has paid for eggs, birds and were possibly given a few. They aren’t cheap and aren’t cheap to raise.

By the time someone rounds up eggs, wraps them up and ships them $40-50+ isn’t a lot at all. Just because you can get a chicken for a couple bucks at tractor supply doesn’t mean gamefowl should be equally as cheap. Lol
In theory you’re paying for a bloodline that has been kept and maintained for a long time not just pretty birds.

Shipping cost alone can be nearly that much depending on where they are going.

I’m not sure about eggs now but around $20+ to ship eggs depending on how many. Birds are $60 at the least plus the roughly $12 for the box. That’s not even including the bird. So it’s not a cheap hobby.
It was a little over 20 the last time I shipped eggs.
Plus all the hassle of trying to find right size boxes to fit. I like to pack them in a box inside another box. Then you have to come up with some kind of filler, foam, paper etc. I wrap the eggs individually in bubble wrap, did not have any on hand and had to buy some. 🙄

Looks like I Missed a lot, but it got covered and then some.

Bought a really cheap project car(runs and drives clean title) plan to boost this one hope to make 250-300whp eventually.
