I’ve never kept a deer head but I haven’t killed much more than an average sized 8 pt. I prefer to hang fox, mink and beaver pelts around the house. Really gives that mountain man feel.

I’d like to tan a rattle snake I’ve got other hides though really makes me feel like I’m out in the country lol

Probably be cheaper to just drive you can’t be more than like 6-7 hrs from me. You could be here in time to bring me lunch if you leave early enough.

This free ranging is crazy lol everybody goes back in the dog kennel like clockwork tonight the two pumpkin pullets went in like usual and the black hen and all the biddies but the hatch hen is mia last time I saw her she was walking in the road and I ran her back in the fence guessing she wanted to be in the trees tonight hopefully she comes back lol
