I ate goose when I was a kid it was real greasy never tried duck how is it?

I just ain’t ever seen to many period I’ve seen em flying occasionally. I reckon they tend to go to more bodies of water that aren’t too deep or pretty shallow?

Never ate duck or goose I have had some smaller game bird before over the years and liked most of what I ate.

What’s the best tasting duck? Now I’ve heard some of it’s great while others not so hot.

Yeah generally closer to the coast you'd find a lot more. Puddle ducks like mallards, wigeon, and teal like shallow water where they can tip up and reach food just below the surface. Deeper water draws in divers that eat crabs, small fish and whatever else they find. Divers taste terrible though.
