Nope. I’ve tried letting a few out to run after breeding. Most do fine but I’ve got a few that wanna pen fight the cocks. It’s annoying. Lol

Yeah and I don’t think locking all these that have free ranged their whole life’s would go very well either. A lot of them I don’t think would take kindly to it females or not some just hate about everything.

My favorite is separating out a hen from a trio. Try putting her back after she’s raised some chicks. That almost always ends badly.

I think this winter i will buy new tarps for the dome pens and cover the tarps with the black silt fence like I used on my 6x6pens and my ibc pens. The silt fence seems to told up 2+yrs but aint as water resistant as the tarps. I got 6 or so months out of the tarps due to the sun. Maybe together I can get 3yrs and then redo them instead of 2times a year

He did a fine job it’ll be around long after we’re gone and bless those that have to move it.

I don’t do much with wood anymore I built my gun cabinet and a few nicnacs, but it’s his hobby he has a little sawmill.
