Yeah really by the time I get home from work it’s dark so I’m feeding chickens at 4 am lol

I feed the ones at the house early and the ones at the other plot after the kids get home. I’d just rather it not get so dark so early.

Caught that last stag mid flight finally after 3 days/nights so besides what all I culled all the birds are moved and accounted for. He was about to be nuggets, I bet I chased him for an hour the other night all up in the mountains.

That’s the best lol the last one I penned I finally caught him up in a pine tree had to climb it to get him

Absolutely is not the best lol he was pissing me off I bet I rounded up 40+ free range birds and I couldn’t catch him to save my life. Didn’t keep that many but rounded them all up nonetheless. Glad this is the last time we move cause I’ve been at it mostly by myself besides my buddy coming up two weeks ago and helping move the guns, cabinet, freezer and fridge. Rented a 26ft uhaul to move pens that were worth moving it’s been a mess I’m wore slap out been moving everyday since we officially bought it and all that’s left is some barrels and a few pen building materials and I’m done!

Oh and done had to fix the monitor heater which was simple and the water went out a few days ago bahaha. Atleast it wasn’t the pump like we thought just the main line was broken close to the well cap.

Gotta get some insulation in there.

It will be 6yrs or so before we get to move for the last time. I dread that mess.
