Some breeds will hack up during molt for one reason or another I’ve not had it happen but it does. One thing I stick true to is unless they get injured I will not touch them in molt period it is the quickest way to get a rooster to hating you and they don’t forget they hate you. Some may act scared like yours while others will be looking for war. He’s almost done with molt he just doesn’t wanna be in that cage he is like terrified Inter close and he does not want me there and he is a very docile bird like very manageable he will let you touch but now he won’t
You nailed that on the head the world is full of em.
[/QUO Ain’t that the truth. that poor bird looks sick with that pale head too. I hate to see a good rooster in bad hands. To many real cockers out there putting in the work and then you see and hear things that make you shake your head. That’s why I don’t sell chickens anymore, I keep a select few friends that I trade and share with across the country and that’s how I like it.
one of my WhitesNo offense but I don’t believe we’ve seen your birds yet?
I’m pretty sure that guy/kid whatever they are aren’t from the states and maybe in a poorer situation. While I agree birds thrive better in pens with grass/straw or on cords not everyone has the same opportunities even the majority of the chicken America loves to eat is raised in pretty rough situations. Like havocs said it’s been said and brought up ain’t much complaining can do.
I will say this people complain about domes, tie cords aswell, but that’s what I use myself. Learned long ago you can’t please every Karen out there.
