American Gamefowl

The one I got from you will bring blood if he’s in a mood I look past it though long as there’s no legs involved. He’s a good bird one of the calmest ones I have. The stag is just as calm long as your calm with him. Just can’t fumble around close to them or they’ll let you know. Lol

What are you doing when he bites you? Like reaching for him or once you have him in your hands?

I’ve had problems with birds that seemed more genetic than others. And you are liable to get a few hateful ones here and there regardless, but everything rooster wise here will let me handle it from dusk till dawn.
The only time I avoid handling a bird is during molt the majority of any issues I have had is birds fresh outta pens or birds I haven’t handled but the majority come around in less than a week.

In a pen? What about on a cord?
About the same both ways. Long as you catch him while he walking away there’s no issues. I think the biggest issue with the stag from him is he’s just young and hasn’t been messed with for long and could just be bad genes from the hen side . I think he will chill out with time he’s already gotten better I caught him earlier when I was setting up new pens and never had a problem.

Yeah most of mine will eat out of your hands. I don’t mind a bite here and there but I don’t like manfighters and won’t have them here. It may be bad genes from the hen side witch won’t ever be a problem again like I said I’ll give him time since he’s not in the way but if he doesn’t straighten out no big deal to do away with him either.
