Why?

Because usually people vote for the ones with 'good looks', not the ones with talent.

So my guess, Scotty may win. He's young, and theres alot of little girls who like him.

Lauren should win in my opinion...

I felt bad for Haley, the judges were so mean to her.......but she was absolutely amazing in her second song!!!

Laurens first song was spectacular, but she holds back so much. I want her to really wail it out and she never does. She's really good though!

I didn't think the judges were mean to Haley at all. It's getting down to the wire, and she did nothing with that first song, she just didn't. Time to get tough when it's about to be the top 3. Furthermore, I thought she had a bit of a bad attitude about the criticism. I'm sure it's frustrating to hear criticism at a crucial time, but I really think she showed a mild lack of maturity in her reaction. Her second song was much better. She would be my choice to go home next.

Lauren I don't think will win, but I do like her a lot; seems genuinely sweet, but she's been given enough time to come out of her shell, and she really needs more growing time I think.

I'm bored with Scotty, but he's likable and I can see the appeal, if I were a country fan.

James: Still WINNING, in my opinion.

Well - my opinion for what it's worth - I think both songs that Haley sang last night were just wonderful!! FAR, FAR better than Scotty's second song and Lauren's second song. Haley sang her butt off on BOTH songs. The first song was beautiful, inspirational, and Haley sang it with such feeling and passion, yet the judges did not like it. Yet, Scotty's second song was beyond horrible AND he looked like a demented Howdy Doody. Lauren's second song was bad, too. Yet everything that Scotty and Lauren do is amazing. I don't get it. But I did like both Lauren's and Scotty's first song.

I wasn't a huge fan of James' first song, but I think he really did a GREAT job with the second song.

I guess it just boils down to personal preference. At this point, I prefer Haley. I love that tone in her voice and I love that she doesn't just try to sing the song like the original artist.

Casey was and still is my favorite - overall musical talent-wise, I don't think any of the others come close.

I know the criticism has to be searing after you've sung your heart out, but I think Haley killed her chances to move on, with her reaction to the judges last night. Since this is obviously a popularity contest, to win you have to stay positive/loving/happy/upbeat etc. or risk damaging that fragile image with your voters. As good as they all are, it comes down to "who will make a mistake" to be elimated. I believe Haley made that mistake. The judges criticism wasn't as bad as her reaction to it.

Now I feel led to rant about "Lady GaGa" being chosen as an advisor to ANYONE! Whether you like her or not isn't the issue. She is a unique, extreme performer. She had nothing relavent to "give" to these young people who are developing their own style. Her style is not appropriate for any of these contestants, for sure. Her influence was detrimental, not helpful and I applaud the 4 contestants for taking her advice gracefully and then quietly dumping it. I know ratings are important to the show's producers, but come on folks....this is the future of these young people's lives you're playing with!!!! Show a little responsibility.

I also think Haley will be the next to go. I really like her, but I think she takes the "Janis Joplin" a little bit too far. Less is more. It would be more effective with less.

I personally think Lady Gaga is outrageous. And the things she said to Scotty----------and that's what WE heard. What else did she have to say? I don't think I want to know.

James was awesome last night, even though he is not my fav. But I think they all did awesome EXCEPT for Haley's first song. Didn't like that at all. The second song was awesome, but like I said, too much "Janis Joplin". Tone it down abit.
