American serama thread!

Malaysian style birds in America have big, high chests, and hold their heads further back. They also tend to be smaller.

Malaysian style birds in Malaysia are quite extreme in appearance.

The American type are what you mostly see pictures of here.

If you are interested in the American Serama, we have some great books for sale on our www.gsserama.com website. Tons of pictures, and color descriptions.

For Malaysian Serama, in Malaysia, google is probably your best bet. I don't know a good website that has a lot of pics of those.

As far as Malaysian Serama, in America, they are not very common. There might be few people here that have one or two that are Malay looking. Perhaps they will post pics.

 That is really funny. That little bird has some guts. What kind of bird is the big one...? It's kind of scary looking...

American type Malaysian....not as extreme as true Malaysian...these are silkied also. There may be other silkied malaysian in the U.S., but none to my knowledge. The silkied venue is not in Malaysia only smooth feather.
