Upon further research last night I found a couple of interesting Tidbits regarding body types.
In Malaysia there are multiple body types and styles of Seramas. The two most common are the extreme upright stance with wich most are familiar and a round ball type stance.
With this upright stance they stand as upright as possible while still apearing balanced. You know, wings forward, breast extended up and forward beyond where a regular chicken would stand, head often back toward the tail, sometimes touching the base of the tail. The whole shebang.
The round body type is just that. Round. They have shortened legs, a full breast, and stand a bit flatter and rounder. Rather like the side view of an apple.
The American Serama has a stance that is in between the two body styles. A stocky bird with full breast. It caries the upright stance, though not as extreme in type. The head is carried a bit upright, but not as far back as the more extreme body types. The birds are generally stockier in build(not Fatter LA, but Stockier) with a fuller breast, short, stocky legs. The wings are carried at the traditional straight carriage, though some carry their wings a bit further back than is traditional.
also, I will add that there are nearly as many body styles, wing prefferances, etc., as there are Serama Breeders.
