Well someone finally called me. They were garanteed to be here the 17th at 3pm. They took them to the airport and they didn't have room so they sent them back to the warehouse. Tried again the next day. No idea where they are. That is the kind of job I want, just half a&% di your job and that is fine. I am sure they are dead, but I will be opening box with the person that delivers them. I am ticked, me and sender have been calling since the 1st day. If they couldn't make in on the plane the first day they should have called. Number is clearly on box!

Memphis, I am very sorry for all your worries with your shipped birds. I know it is frustrating and upsetting and will be very sad if you loose them. I went thru this a few months ago but mine got to me safely after only one extra day.

Just so everyone knows. The USPS does NOT any longer guarantee 1 day shipping on Express Mail. I don't believe they have changed it on the website but that is the way it is. They changed their overall policy on this a couple of months ago or so.

Just like Priority Mail is not 1-2 days any longer it is now 3-7 days and it is NOT guaranteed. So just be prepared for chicks and eggs to take longer than they used to.

I am not badmouthing the USPS just passing on facts. The locals can only do so much to help and they often do not know anymore than you do by searching the tracking #.

Having them held at the nearest large facility with your phone # clearly on the box is the best you can do to get them safely.

Also your birds may be ok. In the dark and resting, they don't need much food or water. I hope you have some tough birds in there that will surprise you!
