American serama thread!

HEY JOEY,

you still game for breeding whitey to my b/w mottled hen.... if so ill bring her on the 24th so that you can take her home for a while...let me know

Thanks for the compliments! I really should take better photos of my birds - these photos make my birds look hideous LOL... Bobby just scarfed them up, and I think he'll end up getting more like 2 dozen LOL.... I need to stop hatching - I'm overrun with Seramas and my new work schedule is making chores all but impossible

There are better pics on my website though I just noticed: http://feathersfur.weebly.com/smooth-serama.html

Hey, CA people, I may have recruited a new 4H poultry member that wants to get into Seramas. Does anybody have a young pullet they would like to find a home for? I only have one from my hatch that I think might be a pullet, and I kind of wanted to keep her, so I thought I'd ask around!!

I'll know for sure if this girl is joining in the next week or two, but I thought I'd put the word out.... I only found out tonight.

Wish I would have known 3 weeks ago!

Hello Bill, I am game but you have to wait till Nov. man cuz I don't officially get him back from my uncle until mid Sept., then I will introduce him to my F2 typie pullet for my Malaysian serama project. I can start with your hen in mid Oct. or early Nov. while the other one cooking her eggs.

Bobby- this was the size difference I was talking about earlier, when we were discussing pasty butt- my chick is the dark one on the right, Cara's chick is on the left. My chick is 5 days OLDER than Cara's, and her three are all the same size. This little one is the smallest by far, of all my chicks, but it seems healthy. It will be a month old tomorrow.

I might be able to help out, is she going to be at our meet up in Sept???

No, there's no way I'd be able to bring her, I'll be at the soccer fields all morning, and rushing to the meet up from there. I think she's celebrating a birthday that weekend too, the big "13" !! But I'll be seeing you, so I can let you know as soon as I get confirmation from her parents.
