American serama thread!

I got them locally off of craigslist. Only paid $15 for the Millie fluerish colored cockerel. Killer deal on that guy lol not sure of the specific bloodlines but they are both solid A's IMO. My pullets could be a little better but they are at least B class. My first batch of chicks should be hatching on sun or Mon so I'm curious to see how they come out..

Good luck with the hatch. The first chicks are special.

Meet Otis.
8 months old, 13.7 ounces.
Blue birchen frizzled serama

I think I might have already posted him but I forgot lol anyways if I did this is a better picture

Wow! The Frizzled cock that you said is just over 13 oz. Means he is BARELY a class b... I don't remember what size you said the others where!

I have someone interested in birds... I might hatch some, they would be the first I am so exited! I am more exited to see what the chicks end up like!

I had a couple of big eggs hatch, one of my serama eggs is on day 22 candling still see it breathing in egg, (also fluid in egg, so don't tell me to help.)my other serama eggs didn't make it.

I did get 3 bantams from the feed store to go with my big chicks. also if my serama egg hatches I didn't want her to compete with large birds.

Always the pits when this happens. I did get 3 bantams from the feed store to go with my big chicks. also if my serama egg hatches I didn't want her to compete with large birds.
When bad luck strikes I always think, "Maybe next time".

I had someone interested show up Saturday. Bills and unexpected bills and rotten bills. $125 and ten chicks are gone. Dang car is fixed, but I sure wish I hadn't sold some of them chicks.

Thanks. I did get some neat birds to hatch. I wanted a GLW,(from a friend) and one BCM/blue isbar (mine flock) then my feed store birds were blue cochin banatams and an EEbantam.
