Concerned about this one.. Has comb damage. I'm getting a silked cockoo cockerel Sat . How about his shape ? Back too long .

Are the pullets suppose to carry their tails up all the time or can they carry horizontal unless they are posing?

Really good ones are supposed to pose/be vertical all the time. I'm breeding for that.

How old? Has he ever posed or held his tail correctly?

Yes. At times he carries it at 90°
He hatched on 3-31-18

At that age my best cockerel was like that. I'd wait until he Is about 7-8 months. That's when they show their 'true selves'.

just got pictures of the Silkie Serama cockerel I bought. . What do you think? I'd like to breed him to my mottled frizzled pullet.
He's 2 1/2 months old.
