I agree, Hen-O-baters are the best! Love the built in extra features of them too....

'CC' stands for 'Cajun Classic' ....the ultimate serama show...held at or near Jerry's place--40 miles from New Orleans...2nd weekend in April each spring. Another show (closer to you show) you might be able to attend....We will have a SCNA Table Top Serama show in Shawnee, Oklahoma 2nd weekend in Dec...don't know if you are close enough to come to that or not, but try to attend...will be lots of serama and fun.

Thanks for the info. I've heard about the show at Shawnee, OK, and I would LOVE to go, but I'm afraid we are going to be headed to Georgia about that time for a son's graduation from boot camp.

I'm planning to go to Sedalia, MO Oct 22. I don't know if there will be any seramas there, but on my way back home from there I will be picking some up from a friend. I'm so eager to go to the show, see my sisters and pick up my little ones!

Well here is the best photo I have of LULU this AM....maybe I can get that camera out there this afternoon and get some updates......

My Phoenix/banty roo Pharow had a horrible accident last Friday...he was free ranging w/ the rest of the crew in my backyard and I was on a ladder [under the roof] holding a 22" X 46" piece of 3/4" plywood to place in an framed opening on the roof of my gazebo. The pitch of the roof is very steep...so while I was manuevering it into the place...I had to tip it to the pitch of the roof to get the first edge into the slot and .....yes you guessed it....it slid out of my hands off the roof and WHAM on the ground.. I saw Pharow run and I thought to myself "Whew that was a close one". Get off the ladder, go to pick up the piece of wood.......and what is underneath it..........a chicken leg!!

I went hysterical Ray......I am surprized you didn't hear me wailing all the way by you. It got severed about 1" below the hock joint. Today he is doing very very well on one leg...no infection, swelling gone he is a tough fellow.....Had to widen the perches in coop/run for him but otherwise he is getting along well.....
