American serama thread!

Today, Mr. Turtle was even less of a hassle to pick up and decided he just wants to relax when I hold him. He swat on my lap and crowed 8 or 9 times in a row, too.

When should I venture into bathing or trying to work with him for showing? Too soon? He will try to get away from me still

bathing id do now....sometimes a nice warm bath calms them down a lot..... far as for show not til you can trust him a bit more....try taking some chicken wire make a circle with it and just set it down on a table with him in it....do it on different surfaces so he is used to it.... that will help some for you

Hi All!
While I have been previously ignored here in favor of the SoCal group...........there are Serama lovers in other parts of the country.

Just wanted to say that my husband's SF-DAV rehab project for the last two years has been Seramas. Right now we are very much out of room for the upcoming kids....................so he has approximately 34 seramas available that range in age from 3 years to 8 months. Stock from all over the country, too numerous to name but primaries are amateur DAV breeders that had purchased stock from Jerry, along with Pearly Sue and Reese Poultry and about half a dozen other breed stock breeders. Limited time offers.................

Singles - $20.00 each
Pairs - $35.00 each
Trios - $50.00 each
Or take what remains, all roosters and all hens, for one flat price for everybody at the time of contact (pending sales excluded) - could be one heck of a steal!!!!!!!!!

Other packages possible!
Some random photos located at www.naturalark.com/serama.html

Thanks
for maybe actually reading this post!

Tough one. So, I'm not clear, was the soft shelled egg broken or filled with water but hole? If it wasn't broken, I wouldn't worry. If it was broken when you pulled it out, I would do a warm bath.
