Gosh you guys keep showing these birds for sale. I would love to have her. We are having freezing weather now and I would not want to have anyone shipped here right now.

The serama's 'strut' is due to its short back and big chest (the way they're built or 'type')....I don't train my birds (only to make them gentle), the rest comes natural. I don't think it would be possible for a long backed, flat chested bird to strut. This is why we say 'type' is so important. Its what makes a serama different.

Also, from the short time I've had Seramas, I've noticed that some of mine have that natural "look at me" attitude more than the others. It reminds me of my trainer's Arab stud. He's generally a sweetie, but he loves to strut his stuff and show off!

Just candled the 37 eggs from Jerry. 3 cracked so tossed out and 30 fertile. WOW! Now if I get 10 to hatch I will be so happy. Shipped for Jerry to me in WA> wow-great fertility! Great packing too. The usps broke 2 holes in the box the size of a golf ball and the box was squishes too. Now lets see what happens???

I have been slowly introducing Teena to the other girls but she just won't socialize with them. Yesterday I was in the BirdHouse painting the back wall and pigeon shelf and brought Teena with me. The other girls were outside eating grass and digging for bugs. Not Teena! She stayed inside with me just digging in all the shavings and eating seeds my two pigeon girls (Thelma & Louise) always throw on the floor. If the other girls came inside to see what's going on, Teena just ignored them and continued with her busyness. If I went into the garage to get more paint or another brush...here comes Teena. I go back in the BirdHouse...here comes Teena. What a goof!

So...is she ever gonna like her 'chicken' family?
