I love my Serama's. I have some eggs from a couple of my girls and we'll see.....

Morgan, is it possible she is going "broody"? They do sometimes just seem to have "frantic" attacks. Maybe she felt a change in weather or did you make any changes near her crate that may have set her off..............it does not take much sometimes.

She does not really sound sick to me.

Talk about chickens with everything....I had to laugh when I went to the Okie BYC forum this morning...these are two 'long lost brothers'....Little Joe (on the monitor) belongs to Robin in Muskogee, Ok....brother Channing lives with owner Mitzi in Gutherie, Ok...some pampered chickens!!

Thanks, Ruth. I appreciate that someone took the time to respond. She was just as frantic after she laid the egg as before. And since she laid an egg that means she isn't egg-bound, right? I am watching her this morning and she seems less frantic so I guess that's good. I'll just watch and see. Again, I appreciate you took the time to respond! Your babies are doing just great, by the way!

So pretty! I'm thinking they must be brothers of my cute little Isis. They look like the boy equivalent of her.

They are relatives of Isis,.. somehow.

Hope to see you at Shawnee this Saturday.

Cara- I've heard that filling eggs with mustard works but have never tried it. I do know hot does not affect chickens or birds whatsoever, but hear they do not like bitter/sour things.

Great i will give it a go, Chaili was asking yesterday (to they like bitter/) I guess not i will try it
