Hi Brenda, Well I don't feed anything special to her, she gets 4-5 little mealworms for breakfast [she is a HIGH energy girl]
LAYENA/scratch&wildbirdseed mix/ fruits and vegies DU JOUR...... tons of sunlight and her favorite playmate..
I have been using AQUAPHOR lotion on her and polysporin [cuz its an old tube] and rubbing it in real good on her to stimulate those feather folicles and keep her skin from shedding so bad....the skin builds up in/around the foliucles and clogs them BAD.....now whether this is gonna work or not in the long run.............hmmmm.....but I want to try......
here are acouple of pics of her...she is in her overnight cage...these are all the feathers that are left that have a good anchoring in her skin.........poor girl huh...but you would never know, she is SO FULL of life and happy/content....

Froggie, since you have an almost naked bird, maybe you have a suggestion for me. Lucky is far from featherless but he is proving to be a little sparse, I think, . Are there any vitamins, foods, etc. that I can supplement him with? Thanks, Brenda

I've heard of doing that; don't know if it works.

Okay, the camera manual is pathetically vague and incomplete -- it assumes some sort of potographic knowedge and innate ability to translate symbols. I adjusted the shutter speed (I think), and I gave it another shot, so to speak. How's this?

Edit: still a bit grainy, but it looks like I'm on the right track.

Thanks, Ray! Many of them are tragically out of condition right now, but I'm trying to get some good pics for Jerry's v-judging. The birds are cooperating, but the camera isn't.

What about housing? I have 3 hens & a rooster in an inside pen , the one just joined the other 3 I just took her babies away from her .. What is a good size for them & does it count for height with extra roosts ?

Looking better......maybe ya should of got a PHD type camera ............

Any better? You'll be needing to tell me what a PHD camera is. I know the difference between a CVA and an MVC (cerebral vascular accident/motor vehicle collision), but PHD is a foreign language to me!
Edit: it's not any better, is it? If I gave pics like this to Jerry for v-judging, would you say, "why couldn't they get better pictures?!?!?"
