What is the dosage of Wazinefor seramas? My smaller flock of LF chickens have them, and have been wormed. We had let our 6 week old seramas play in the shared grass area a couple days. They aren't showing any signs, but I'm afraid that if I wait until they do, it will be too late.

I finished painting it and put Rooder in it for perspective.
Thank you so much for posting this..............................I have almost enough materials to put one together
it's almost as cute as a Serama chick

What are the heights in the front and back...nice slope..............

New babes! 6 of these guys are out of the same trio of birds (a frizzled pullet and a smooth pullet, both the same chocolate looking wheaton like color, and a smooth cockerel who is mahogany, gold, and black with a laced or spangled chest). I have one which is a week and a half old and the rest of these little ones were hatched yesterday. The 7th baby is from a pen with a buff silkied boy who I suspect had chocolate gene... his tail was not quite black, and the pullet he was in with was a smooth black girl. The liver/chocolate/almost blue looking baby is theirs.

I am in love with this hatch, and have more eggs in and due between the 24th and 27th.

There there so cute

I'm going to stop hatching for this year. I have hatched 18 roosters now in one batch and no hens . Can I change that?? I should stop because I don't know a lot of people that want Serama roosters. I guess I will have to stop selling eggs to people unless they want alot of males. Worst year ever for me for chicks ;(

Old for h lover - what rotten odds!!! That's why I can't breed to sell. Big birds you can sell (or even give away) to eat if you end up with a bunch of Roos (or eat them yourself). I'm not going to cull/kill a healthy bird just to get rid of it though, and the meat you'd get from a serama wouldn't be with the processing IMO. I'd stay away from Vegas this year...

I honestly think [in my old demented frog brain] that there is something wrong this year, that is causing so many roos to pop out of eggs..it is happening everywhere and with all the breeds.
Maybe it is the year of the rooster or because of the year 2013 or the funky weather but whatever it is IT SUCKS! So sorry you have so many boys... :(

i have heard incubator temps can determine sex, can't remember specifics, don't know if its true- other theories are the hen determines it, may be something to that, i quit hatching for that reason too, one thing a friend does is caponize her extras and let them freerange to take care of bugs
