American serama thread!

Just stumbled across this thread, and I thought I'd hop in! xD
I have a gorgeous Serama roo, Tweet (that explains my username). He was my first ever hatched chick. He is now 9 months old, and he's doing great! He doesn't seem to notice that my standard hens are 4 times bigger than he is.
I'm thinking of maybe trying out a show with him? I don't know. I'm a bit nervous, as I've never been to any kind of poultry show, but I looked over the Serama breed standards, and Tweet looks like a winner.

That's my boy! The one in front. The "star" of the picture. xD This pic was taken a few months ago, but he hasn't gotten any bigger, the only thing that got bigger was his comb. I've only heard him crow once. Lolz

he is so handsome if i were a judge id have him first place but for a better pic so maybe everyone could tell you if he is show uality everyone on here is very knowlegable on this breed. id have him take a photo from the side so his entire body will show and a pic of him now is goood also because the comb and wattle are also looked at. but hes a beutiful bird you must be a proud owner.

Thanks! That means a lot. Tweet sure is a handsome boy.
Yes, I am very proud of my Mr. Tweet.

I'll snap some pics tomorrow. I've started training him to stand like a show bird too, tall and straight. He doesn't always listen.. But... Making progress. He's such a friendly bird, I love him to pieces.

Yes, if you could post better pictures and more recent pictures of him we could definitely give you an idea as to how he'd confirmation wise. He sure is handsome though!

Here you go, pictures of Tweet. They were taken just now. He may or may not be show quality, I just read over some standards and Tweet seems to meet them, I'll leave it up to you all. He's got a few messed up feathers from being picked on, but he's fine.
I LOVE his coloring!!! We would need pictures of him standing on a flat surface to be able to really tell if he is SQ, but the only fault I can really see right now is his comb.
