Honestly, price depends from breeder to breeder along with quality lines, good genetic backgrounds and other factors. Whether being show quality or pet quality, but then again the seller decides the prices. Sort of hard to say but chicks can go anywhere from $5 and above

i think it depends on what people are willing to spend, i'd charge more than 2.50 though, so that you know people will take care of them properly and consider the time and feed you have spent

I generally ask people as many questions and check the vibe I get from them. If they don't know much about chickens or admit they don't have proper space or setup, I don't sell, but maybe a will up my price a bit.

Well, it certainly depends on quality. I bought a rooster that I consider show quality for $200 and his hen for $50 and they are worth what I paid for them (to me).
