chicks are hatching!!! someone tie my hands .-. i keep looking and waiting for chicks its only day 20 too tomorrow is 21

If they are Seramas they hatch at 19 days usually. Congrats!

Yes that early not sure why it is. I assume that it is because of their size. The actual hatching is an approximate, it can go +-2 days either way depending on the actual incubation temp. a little high the early hatch a little low a latter hatch.

Well they are under a broody. i looked when she stood up and oje looks like it has blood on it? Its still in the egg but has a small hole in it. is it normal for there to be a little blood or should i be worried?

i'd be concerned on that one, can you pull that egg and get a pic?

sometimes when they pip they might hit a vein that hasn't dried up yet. i would put it back under the broody and leave it. if you try to get it out of it's shell before the yolk is absorbed it could and most likely will die.

Its back under her now im sitting here wanting to touch but im not. so it should be okay right? Its one of my seramas and ill cry if it dies i have been waiting on them
