American serama thread!

hey - are seramas prone to blindness? this boy is blind now, dilated pupils

any idea on treatment?

I incubated shipped eggs and one chick was blind. He looked normal in all ways but couldn't see a thing. He went to a home where the lady wanted a house chicken that could come with her out to the garden when she would go out there daily.

I loved laced chickens of pretty much any breed or color. I have several. Only 1 serama with lacing though

Ooh I love his colors!!!
Most of Toy's laced babies are from him and a silkie so they aren't pure serama, but they are SO stinkin cute. I just hatched 2 dozen under one of his laced mutt hens so hopefully I'll get some cute new laced hens to add to my flock.

Wondering if my fellow BYC'ers will do me a favor in wishing my mother-in-law a warm welcome. She finally convinced her husband to build her a coop and she is leaving my house with chickens to start her flock. Her avitar is the coop he built for her, it's pretty awesome. Her username is Nanachicks.
Thank you'all in advance!
Jesse
