American serama thread!

a flock block is feed stuck into a block . It keeps them busy . distracted. they also have small ones for little chickens. Do you ever take her outside for some sunshine and grass ? No amount of calcium will be absorbed without some good old vit.D

Hey, I know I already tried asking, but I figured I'd quote my intro post and put it here at the reccomendation of user Michael OShay

I might just have to talk my fiance into getting me an incubator and having to put up with hatching 5 roos and 1 hen haha :p

Welcome to BYC. I received your PM also but hadn't had a chance to respond. I have around 12 roos that I am going to grow out for a few months before picking the ones I am going to keep. I will have a few that I will be selling when the time comes. Shipping them isn't the cheapest but I can let you know when they're ready and if you're still interested we can work out the details. Shipping eggs can be costly also if the hatches aren't good so it's kind of a chance that way too. I only have 2 frizzled at the moment - 1 of each sex so I won't be letting either of them go but should start getting eggs from them in the fall.

@clousert Thank you so much for the response! No worries. I think I might have found a post on craigslist for someone with Serama about an hour away, but they still won't respond to me. I don't think they realized they forgot their phone number on the post and aren't checking their email :( I hope they do though.

@granny hatchet What is your signature from? It's awfully beautiful...and sad

@Red, welcome to BYC, It was part of a post i wrote on a different thread about my autistic son and his cat of 16 yrs. It was his therapy cat. Someone mentioned to me that it sounded like it came from the bible and they thought it very beautiful so i copied it to my signature.
