American serama thread!

Hey serama peeps,

I'm fairly new to breeding seramas (about a year) and never seen a self blue or lavender color serama. I recently came across another hobby breeder and he was able to acquire some what he called self blue seramas and I was able to buy one hen. I hatched a few of her eggs and one chick came out what looks to be blue. Attached is some pics of mom and chick. Tell me what you think?

Post some lavender or self blue pics if you have some. Thanks in advance.

I normally get $2.50 per egg + shipping, but I'm getting buried in eggs, so I'm going to start covering the shipping for orders of 12 or more eggs.

I'm new to that is a very pretty hen

I have a white columbian rooster over a gold columbian hen. All they throw are white chicks .is this expected ?

I have a good start on my blues for the fall

That dark blue looks a lot like my gal Ping! She's just starting to type up and should lay any day now. Really hoping she starts holding her wings down, she's keeping her tail up and pulling her head back more and more, but those wings have hardly come closer to earth at all.

She's beautiful. None of my girls hold their wings down like my males do :/
