Thank You shahtir

She is darling! I think I know who her parents are. I will try to remember to take some pictures. If anyone from your area comes to the show in Ramona, I can send a young roo back up with them for you.... :)
You do? I'd love pictures of them if you remember! No hurry, though hun

I have been asking anyone I know if they'd like to go down to the show. Unfortunately, my old VW bug won't make it but I may be able to do the Manteca one. I do appreciate your offer, though. You're so darn sweet!

I do wish I could make it but that's over an 8 hour drive...or 15 hours in my Bug

Well last night i weighed my birds and my rooster is 29 oz.

I am a little disappointed because he has pretty good type... I am thinking that i might do a test hatch with him and see if I need to cull him
Oh Noes! I'm sure he can find a home, sweetie!

If you need any more pics let me know
SUCH A CUTIE!!

This is a little pullet about the same age as yours. The comb on her brother was very much bigger and redder. I would post his picture but he was culled as soon as I was sure of his gender. I'm quite pleased with this little one. The mother is about 10 ounces; little one is 2 ounces and I like the looks of her more than the mom.

Oh Noes!! I would have taken him! I'm sorry, though hun.

The rooster was culled due to a number of things. Even at 1 month it was pretty obvious he was not going to be a bird that could be used for breeding; too large, bad posture, poor shape. Culling does not have to mean that the animal/rooster in this case was destroyed. Being a teacher makes it so I know many people; people that are into pets. When I can, the birds being culled are given away as pets-not as seramas, but as small bantams.

I am wanting to purchase fertile Serama eggs. I would like to keep a trio as indoor companions and am looking for a breeder who breeds quiet or mute roosters. Does anyone know of such a breeder? I am willing to purchase chicks or adults as well.

I messaged him when tge bird first started acting weird and when he died and he never discussed sending another bird or refunding. Also my birds have all be vaccinated. I would cancel your order just be careful

Where are you located? The rooster I am using is quieter and has a half crow (a rather odd sound), but is crowing a trait that can be manipulated? I would think that what you want would have to come from a line of birds that bred true for muteness or soft crowing. Has this been done? When I type this into a search box, nothing comes up.
