American serama thread!

I have sold most of my seramas but this little girl I am very reluctant to part with. What color would this be? I would say white with black penciling but there is also cream in her wings. She’s just gorgeous.

She is beautiful. I am in a group on Facebook called serama colours. It is run by Sigrid van Dort an author that has written many books on chicken color genetics including Seramas. Last I knew, you don’t use Facebook, if you want I can share your picture and get thier opinion on color.

I really like those dark eyes and how well they contrast her lighter color.

I don't know what to call the color, but I have an EE with a similar feather pattern. Her 1st year she looked more black/white like your serama. Her 2nd year less white and some grey feathers appeared after her 1st real molt. Her 3rd - 6th year she's been adding a touch of browns & more greys to her feathers each year. The lacing turned into delicate penciling. She changes just a little bit every year, so it's fun to see her "new look."
