American serama thread!

hi Serama lovers
I live in north san diego county (Vista) Ca

and have some adorable frizzle and smooth roosters I need to give away to a good home. Contact me if you know of anyone who can take them. My neighbor is complaining about the noise. They are 5 and 8 months old.

I need to reduce my serama flock. I must decide on a rooster (one must be Teddy, a 4 year old who weighs a whopping 21 oz) ... and maybe a back-up. Problem is that I have 3 back-ups at the moment.

I love this guy. He's 5.5 months old. BUT Weighs 16.1 oz and kind of tall.
How much do you think will he grow in the next 6 months?

Mr Squeaky is my smallest rooster. He's over a year old (hatched summer 2020) and weighs 15.5 oz. Doubt he'll grow any more.

Lastly, perhaps I should keep a smooth serama, since I already have a silkied one. This guy is both handsome and very good to the ladies. I already saw him tidbit and he's been crowing for a while. 3 month old and already weighs 15.8oz.

And because everyone love to see spoiled little chickens, here are 2 pullets currently living in my daughter's room. They were both lonely-only hatches, so when their mamas abandoned them, they were put together and became bonded.

Time to play Pullet or Cockerel.....

These are 1 month old (hatched Sept 15th) By first week I felt the dark was male. (slightly bigger and light one would always huddle under it.) Personality made me think the smaller white one was female.

Now at 4 weeks, I'm wondering if both might be male. Neither one has much comb (so it's too early to tell). The dark one is still slightly bigger, more outgoing and has a touch of wattle growth. The white one (just yesterday) is looking a bit pink in comb. I'm surprised by that. I've often had males look like this around the 2nd or 3rd week.

Last pic was taken close up and from below but shows what I mean by wattle development.

If both are male, I know I'm getting the hatching luck of @homeschoolin momma.

It will be interesting to see how they look in a week. So, get your guesses in now and test your serama sexing ability!

Pullets or cockerels? These two will be 12 weeks old tomorrow. Thanks in advance!
22 weeks old now. No eggs yet, but I’m very confident they are pullets since they haven’t changed a bit (comb-wise).
My daughter named them Teeny & Tiny. Here they are snuggled beside their hatchmate Rooster Ray Monkey Llama (also named by my kiddo).

Here are some updated pics of the chicks above.
The little white one (who always sheltered under the bigger dark one) is now "Mr Obvious" That little hint of pink developed into a small red comb which continues to grow. No hiding the fact; he's a boy.

The bigger dark chick continues to perch on top of the waterer. Size and personality had me guessing male...... but still no real physical male traits. Those tiny wattles have not changed in 3 weeks and the comb is still shorter than its head fluff/feathers. Will turn 7 weeks tomorrow, so I'd expect more growth by now.

Any guesses of gender? @homeschoolin momma @ColtHandorf @WVduckchick @nchls school

I say pullet.

We just confiscated a bunch of chicks from two broody hens that were doing a terrible job of being new moms. I'd have had something like fifteen between them but we are down to seven or eight now. I'm sure I'll be playing the game soon enough.
