oh yeah... now i remember...

now that's a snake problem... but if there's so many snakes, that means that there is a huge problem with rodents near by...

i have had rats kill my pigeons, and right now, i know that there are some rats eating my OEGB eggs... i need more snakes... LOL... j/k...

well then good job... snakes are scarce in my areas...

Next time I find one I will box it up and send it your way. lol There isn'a rodent problem here, I guess not more than any other place. It is just very rural and in the middle of the desert. I seriously live 1.5 hours from a stop light, walmart, pharmacy and hospital. I have only killed 3 out of the 10 we have found. The rest get moved down the road. There is even a couple here that buy them for research for a college professor, but that is to cruel for me.

get a pet king snake... when you see snakes, feed it to him... i had mussarrana snakes... they would only eat snakes... so road killed snakes and some rattlers would be dinner when i would find them...

LOL...

and no, this is not cruel... just part of the food chain... research shouldn't be cruel either... unless they are splitting them open... but they just put them in a box, feed them, give them water and study their reactions to different things in their housing...

man, researching is so boring...

This girl is now laying sporadically and the boy is finally mastering the art of mating.

I don't blame you! I would be tired of it too!
Years ago I lost a parakeet to a snake, and it was an awful feeling to see the bulge, knowing it was my baby in it! That snake did not get a chance to brag.

My First Seramas! Got them 2 weeks ago at a BYC swap. Got a cockeral, hen, and 2 pullets.
Oh course they won't stand right, they are kind of wild, so I had a sting on their feet so they couldn't run off. Will try to get some better pictures when they get moved into their new pen(hopefully tomorrow).
The cockeral, I'm guessing around 5-6 months?
