BigB7l is that how serama are usually kept, in cages rather than one big chicken coop? I notice serama people mention cages often and I wondered if this is mainly for show purposes so the birds don't get plucked or injured by another. My friend has two serama hens and I can envision them being lost in a regular chicken coop with maybe a 6ft.height so people don't have to bend. She keeps hers in the house.

well i have about seven roosters that i show and breed so it helps me keep them in good shape for shows and its easy to move birds around for breeding and it's for there safety . and yes there so small they would just get lost in a big pen and it keeps them warmer in the winter . my cage has power running to it and each cage has a fan and a heat lamp . fan for summer and heat in the winter !
