Did you know you can lose a serama in your garage?

I have a pullet about 14 weeks old and she lives with 4 others her age. I went in the garage and stared for a moment. 1...2...3...4. I thought I had 5? I know I have 5! Omg! What's going on?

The first thing I did was search through the stuffing to see if they hid her carcass. Then I was further confused. The lid was on the cage. Rushed inside and my husband admitted they knocked the lid off and he fixed it.

So then we look all over the garage a clean one too for a mini black chicken! I finally found her under a shelf next to a bag of stuffing tucked away in some shadows. Good grief!

Hey Bill, here are pics of my hatchlings from last Friday...3 out of 5 eggs hatched, they are from my cocopop project.

I took this one on Friday morning, 2 hatched & 1 was pipping when I took it.

The rest were taken late yesterday, they all have that crazy markings on their little heads.

These are my ultimate 5, they are half siblings to the chicks above. They are 4 weeks old, look like I have 4 boys & 1 girl.

They should be ready for Semi-National in Feb, I can see 2 out of 4 cockerels are laced or double laced cocopop silver duckwings.

nice joey..... but i still love that one little boy that chaili is still on the wall with..... he is awesome...i hope these look just as nice. congratz....HOMEGROWNS

i might have the pullet you saw a week or so ago ready ....she will be my only little one that will be of age...her borther probably wouldnt do very well at show.

ill keep treking along.... thats what its all about

Wow homegrown Oh I remember I have alot of them coco what ever color and wait I do breed them hmm I just cant wait to show type on my chicks I been breeding but then again I dont need to lol ... haha

Bill, I did not want to make a page full post so I decided to split it in two. Here are up date pics of a couple cockerels some of you will be seeing at our show in Nov. They might not be the best but they and their dad should give the bought show birds a run for their money.
